There is something truly exciting about the arrival of a Countdown Clock to an Olympic and Paralympic Host City. Seeing the days and minutes tick by suddenly makes the reality of the Games seem very, well, real!
When the Countdown Clock is unveiled in Trafalgar Square today, it will serve as a reminder that in 500 days, London will be hosting the largest festival of sport, arts and culture in the world, and based on past experience, a pretty great party!
